A very wet Anzac Day yesterday ... panorama. The guy in tribal gear is representing the New Guinea "fuzzy wuzzy angels" who helped Australian servicemen in the retreat from the Japanese forces in 1942.

Michael Glasheen is a Sydney artist who does amazing panoramic drawings and paintings of the wilderness scenery around Palm Beach, the most northerly of Sydney's beach suburbs. His house is a relic of the old Palm Beach, a little timber fisherman's cottage - surrounded now by massive mansions. Panorama from the weekend.
