About this time of year suburban street festivals start in earnest in Sydney, and first off the rank I think is this one -- the Haldon Street Festival in the inner west suburb of Lakemba -- panorama from today. Lakemba has a large Arabic population and there is a large mosque there and many specialty Arabic businesses and shops.
