Opera in the Domain ... panorama .... this is the last major show each year of the Festival of Sydney, and a signifying event somehow of the end of the summer holidays in the inner city. This year the chosen opera was Bizet's "The Pearl Fishers" -- an intensely romantic saga of the eternal triangle (with "one and a half good tunes" according to one online ratings list.)
